What is a Vascular Lesion on the skin
Many skin conditions, such as port-wine stains, cherry angiomas and hemangiomas, rosacea, and broken capillaries, can make going out a pain for affected persons who are worried people might stare or comment. These conditions come from the formation of blood vessels beneath the skin that can then be seen by the naked eye at the skin’s surface. These will not disappear over time and require treatment if one wants them to go away.
The good news is that here at Pacific Palisades Plastic Surgery these vascular lesions respond very well to laser therapy using heat and light energy and can be quite simple and quick to treat. Some choices we offer include the following:
Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT): Next generation Intense
Pulsed Light (IPL) only by Alma Lasers. Found on Harmony XL PRO
